Welcome to our Y6 Transition page
I am really looking forward to meeting you all properly, next week. Remember to come to reception for 8.30 where myself and the year 7 tutor team will show you where to go and what to do. Students will leave at 2.35 from the main gate.
Students will be given a pencil case and a planner upon their arrival, it is essential that these are looked after and carried with the students at all times. Details on parentpay to pay for lunches and other items will be supplied within the first week.
Face masks can be worn in the communal areas of the school, but at the moment, are not compulsory they must be washable or disposable and pupils must have a plastic bag to store their face masks in lessons and at lunch time.
If anyone has any questions please don’t hesitate to email me on hardy.r@stpeters.npcat.org.uk
Many thanks
Mrs Hardy
Normally this would be my favourite time of year, going into schools, meeting our new students and their parents and finding out all about them. As you can imagine we are having to do things a little differently this year.
I have already started speaking to all of the primary school teachers and finding out a little bit about the students and I am very excited to meet them all in person. Usually I would be sending you information about transition week, parents’ welcome evening and other communications that are part of the normal transition process.
So that we can answer some of your common questions, keep you informed and gather some important information from you, this website will be the place to come to for updates in the coming weeks and months.
Keep your eyes peeled for more information coming soon and if you need anything in the meantime please contact me on transition@stpeters.npcat.org.uk

Transition Week
Sadly, I can not confirm dates for transition week or if this will go ahead due to the current situation. Please be reassured that we will do everything we can to make sure that your child has a smooth and supportive transition into our St Peter’s family.
