The football fever reached an all-time high on Friday as our Year 10 boys took to the pitch for a massive derby match in support of England! 🏆
The buildup to the game was filled with transfer drama. St Peter's rival teams saw a sensational mid-week signing, with Andrew G moving from Trainor Town over to Temple Town—a blockbuster deal officially greenlit by our very own Chairwoman, Mrs Garthwaite! ✍️👔
Before the whistle even blew, both teams showed incredible patriotism and respect by coming together to sing the National Anthem. 🎶🇬🇧
Once the game kicked off, the action was non-stop. Temple Town launched wave after wave of fantastic attacking football, but Trainor Town’s powerhouse defence was absolutely unstoppable. Despite every effort, neither side could break the deadlock, and this epic St Peter's derby ended in a hard-fought 0-0 draw! 🤝⛔
