29th March 2021

Dear Parents and Carers

After another challenging lockdown, I’m delighted that all of our pupils returned to school safely the week beginning the 8th March. All pupils have once again shown great maturity and swiftly adapted to self-testing and the wearing of face coverings in lessons in order to protect pupils and staff members as part of our risk assessment and government guidance.

Easter is an incredibly important time as we feel that deep sense of renewal and hope for the future, remembering how God sent down his only son to die on the cross so that we can be saved. I hope this Easter more than ever we can find some time to reflect and renew our own faith; a faith that has been so important in sustaining us through recent times.

On Maundy Thursday we will once again come together as a family to commemorate the last supper. On this day we will all have a meal together with our tutor group as family dining. Those pupils who wish to have a packed lunch can do so whilst sat with their tutor group so they can take part in the liturgy.

Term ends at 2.35pm on Thursday 1st April 2021.

Return to school on Monday 19th April 2021 at 8.30am.

I fully understand children grow quickly and it has been extremely difficult to replace uniform due to current restrictions but please ensure your child returns to school after the Easter break in full school uniform. This includes black blazer with logo, white shirt, tie, black trousers or skirt and black shoes (not trainers). Please also ensure your child has an adequate school bag, equipment, planner and face covering so they are ā€œready to learnā€. If you require any support with uniform, please don’t hesitate to contact school.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a happy and Holy Easter.

Yours faithfully

Mrs S Garthwaite

Head of School
